“I have had the immense pleasure to meet Victor & use his vast industry experience & advice on a new project we are working on. His knowledge & experience, coupled with honest & positive attitude to sharing it for no other reason but to see others succeed & help them, is a rare quality he possesses in abundance. It is a pleasure to work with him & I cannot recommend him enough to anyone who is facing fashion production conundrums. Fashions best kept secret!”

Dessy Tsolova Founding Partner / Director at Utelier Ltd

“Vic has been invaluable on working with me from the very beginning on the launch of a new luxury fashion brand, QIVIUT & CO, using a miracle natural fibre that has never before been manufactured commercially. A successful launch of our flagship product, The Qiviut Jacket, this past winter would never have happened without Vic's years of garment sourcing & manufacturing expertise. His counsel & advice in general rounds out the package of someone who is a pleasure with whom to work”

Robert Gould Founder/CEO at QIVIUT & CO

“Puffa Limited designed, sampled, manufactured & distributed clothing under the Puffa brand.  At the time that he joined the company it was making a loss & suffered from appalling production problems. Victor put planning & control systems in place that increased the order fulfilment rate to almost 100%, increased the gross margin by more than 25% & returned the business to profitability.

Victor was always looking for & finding ways to reduce wastage & other unnecessary costs. For example, he oversaw the selection & replacement of the order processing, stock control & accounting software & computer hardware. He also streamlined the shipping & forwarding processes that were used for imports yielding significant savings. His production planning & order control increased the number of stock turns achieved & reduced the amount of stock that had to be cleared or discounted. This created a significant improvement in the company’s working capital ratio.

His management style was assertive but sensitive. He developed strong & beneficial relationships with key suppliers but never allowed himself to be exploited.  He was scrupulously honest & completely trustworthy as well as hard working, intelligent & innovative

I place great credence in his judgement & have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to any potential employer “

Paul W Botterill Chairman Puffa Ltd ( 1992 -2005 )
